A Cuban refugee who built a life in this country primarily as a result of incredible coaches and mentors, I have made it my life’s mission to help others help themselves be all they were created to be. I combine my own lived experience with learning acquired through my formal training in Positive Psychology and as a Wellness Coach, to help my clients live fully engaged, intentional lives that have meaning and well-being. With more than 20 years’ experience in leadership, mentoring, and teaching, I work with individuals who desire to turn adversity into triumph and challenges into empowerment. I help clients keep their promise to live better lives.
Current community outreach includes serving as Vice President of the 12.14 Foundation Board of Directors, a nonprofit dedicated to teaching children how to grow from adversity by building grit, instilling resilience, and fostering well-being. In addition I serve as a Character Development Facilitator for The Foundation. Click here for more info on Foundation.
Passionate about learning and growth, I have committed to doing two new things each year which challenge and stretch mind and body; learning to play golf, advanced education, running my first half marathon after age 50, acquiring a love for sushi, and activities involving heights are just a few. I have been married to a wonderful man for almost 25 years and we have emptied our nest of 6 children!
